DS.Emotion is currently seeking a versatile and talented Mid-Weight/Senior Designer for the Manchester studio. This is either full time or to cover maternity leave, with the ability to convert to full time. As part of the team this person will assist the Creative Lead and/or Creative Director with all phases of work including research, concept exploration, design development and finalisation. They are responsible for creating and executing high quality design concepts and maintaining brand continuity. We are looking for someone who is multifaceted with experience in property marketing and placemaking.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide fresh thinking, strong ideas and a high level of craftsmanship across all elements of design
- Have a good understanding of the creative process from brief to production
- Organise and maintain design files and master assets as needed
- Maintain the agency’s standards of creative excellence, timeliness and profitability
- Support the team when managing external specialists e.g. illustrators, visualiser
- Help to maintain an atmosphere of inspiration and collaboration
- Design graphics to compliment text and visually enhance documents and campaigns
- Assist where possible with the design of digital output
- Conceptual thinking and brainstorming
- Deliver appropriate creative solutions
- Undertaking research projects, investigating background information and reporting findings
- Presenting and rationalising creative to colleagues throughout the design process
- Design and deliver guidelines for use by others
- Maintain company design standards
- Working with the company job flow software in order to keep accurate records, work to planned timescales, deadlines and budgets
- Working with a Senior Designers, Creative Director and other colleagues whilst generating ideas that compliment the overall creative approach
- Reporting to – Creative Director
- Briefing and liaising with external suppliers (printers, photographers, visualisers etc)
- Creating headlines to compliment creative concepts, working with in-house copywriter when required
