Working with Queensberry, DS.Emotion have embarked on the brand development for The Glass Works, a retail and leisure destination, which is set to be Barnsley’s Town Centre go to destination. But it’s so much more than that. It’s being developed with community spirit at its heart with a local library, new facilities and a welcoming public realm on the horizon. In doing this our the brand had to appeal to and align with the local audience as well as talk to investors, retailers and leisure operators. Our campaign line ‘Barnsley Made’ sits centrally within this proposition.
As part of the project, DS.Emotion were also retained by and Barnsley MBC to develop and roll-out a brand for the historical Barnsley Markets which are integral to the town centre retail mix.
