DS.Emotion gets green light to rebrand Silverstone

Leeds agency DS.Emotion has been appointed to develop a new brand identity and website for iconic motorsport venue Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix.

Silverstone has undergone major transformation since the appointment of Patrick Allen as managing director, successfully broadening the range and type of entertainment it hosts.

Allen said: “With the foundations for the future in place, we are now focusing on realigning our brand and website to reflect our vision. DS.Emotion has consistently demonstrated a clear understanding of what we want to achieve through innovation and it became obvious that they are the right creative partner to drive our brand forward.”

Angus Armitage, director of DS.Emotion, added says “The opportunity to work on a globally recognised brand with unrivalled heritage in such an exciting sector is both an honour and a fantastic opportunity. Silverstone is a special place and not just on race weekends, the energy and atmosphere is ever present as soon as you enter the circuit.

“Patrick and his team have done a great job in building on the events and activity making sure Silverstone is relevant for the audiences or the future, and this is what will come through in our creative.”

DS.Emotion specialises in place marketing and has delivered campaigns for the likes of Carnaby, Bury, Kidbrooke, Trinity, Xscape and Q Hotels.

Established in Leeds 24 years ago, it now also has studios in London and Manchester.
